The Northeast Instrumental Music Festival brings together musicians of all ages, proving that music is a lifelong experience. Band members come from all over the Northeast and Midwest. High School students perform in the Northeast All-Star Concert Band. Adults play in the Great American Community Band.

The Festival is housed in one of Lake Placid's finest hotels - the High Peaks Resort overlooking beautiful Mirror Lake and the Adirondack Mountains. Rehearsals begin Friday evening (Thursday for students) and culminate in a concert held Sunday at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.
